Brief about The Bible

The Bible is the Word of the only one and true God, is for all men. It contains God's salvation for humanity and the only standard of life and faith for Christians. The Bible consists of 66 books, divided between the Old and New Testament. It was written by several authors who lived between 1900 BC. to the first century of the Christian era, "but men spake from God, being moved by the Holy Spirit."(2 Peter, chapter 1, verse 21)

The Old Testament:

The first 5 books contain the law of God, and tell the beginnings of humanity since the creation the world until the establishment of Israel in the Promised Land. Then there are books historical, poetic books (Psalms, ...), the prophetic books. Many of these prophecies have had their fulfillment, others relate time to come.

The New Testament:

It begins with the Gospels it is the same story, that of Jesus Christ, written by Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. This is followed by a historical book: "Acts of the Apostles," written by Luke, who tells the history of early Christians. Then come the Epistles (or letters) of the apostle Paul, who are number thirteen, various other letters which are seven in number, then a very special book, the Apocalypse (Greek term which means "revelation").

Use the character "%":
By using this character between the searched keywords, you can get all the verses contain keywords and there may be other word between the searched keywords.
For example: "Death % life," The result: "Death and life are in the power of the tongue; And they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof." Proverb 18:21 etc.
